Founder of NextWishlist
DreamEp founded NextWishlist, a Steam marketing tool for indie developers, built in France. The idea came from a question every indie developer asks before launch: is my game on track, and what should I do next? Steam gives the raw numbers; reading them every day next to the games of your niche takes hours that small teams don't have.
How the guides are written
- Valve's rules first: every rule links to Valve's Steamworks documentation, with the date it was read. The Next Fest rules are re-read before every edition.
- Benchmarks with their date and sample: surveys of developers and public data, given as ranges, never as magic numbers.
- No invented numbers: when Valve doesn't publish a threshold, the guide says so.
- Updated: each guide shows its last check, and its title follows the current year.
